What is the kinetic energy
The people who walk or run are more energetic and healthy than people who seat ideal all the time. When we walk, we actually burn our calories that we take from food. Walking exercise circulates our blood throughout the body. These are good for our health. But the question is what the Kinetic energy definition is? We know the formula of kinetic energy. When a body set in a motion it posses energy. This energy is known as kinetic energy. The Kinetic energy formula is.
K.E= ½ mv2
Where m =mass of body
V=velocity of body.
So let’s take man with
weight of 60 kg runs at a speed of 2 m/s. then kinetic energy is.
K.E= ½ *60*22
= 30*4
K.E =120 kg.m/s2
But our energy
decreases, because we run or walk, air resist our motion.
That’s why we get tired
after some time.
Kinetic
energy example
1) If A bike and semi-truck going at a
similar speed then a bike has less kinetic energy than truck. Because truck has
a higher mass than bike
2) A football has high amount of kinetic
energy than cricket ball.
3) A rock dropping from some height has
high kinetic energy than a single piece of paper.
Kinetic energy in a car
-Suppose a 600 kg car moving with
velocity 50 km /hour. Then kinetic energy of that car is
K.E= ½ mv2
=½(600×502)
=300×2500
KE =750000
kg.km/hour2
So much huge impact.
Kinetic energy in a cricket ball
Suppose a 155g cricket ball moving with velocity 150 km/hour. Then kinetic energy of that cricket ball is
K.E= ½ mv2
=½(155 gram ×1502 )
=1743750 gram.km^2 /hour^2
KE =1743.750 kg.km^2 /hour^2
